The turmoil in the property markets continues and with an election just over three weeks away, my guess is nobody will be looking to move until they know their jobs are safe. The biggest problem for estate agents is the lack of housing stock coming onto the market. This means that although there are still buyers out there, they out number sellers by 5:1. If you needed an explanation for the rise in prices that’s it. Demand exceed supply… so Prices rise.
Rather than sit around waiting for the Election results to come in, we decided to have some fun instead.
We have set up a demonstration of our auction system at www.getset2move.com with two user names for you to use.
Its not real money so you can bid what ever you like.
You can even bid millions.
Tell your friends and arrange to meet them there, so you will have someone to bid against.

Sign in as username= guest1 or guest2
Password= password
Click on View All Forthcoming Auctions, then click on Join Auction.
If lots of you want to use it, as we’ve given out the password you may find more than one person is signed in as guest1 or 2 at the same time. If this is a problem then contact me and we’ll create some more ‘guest’ user names If you want to meet me there, I can demonstrate some of the Auctioneer features. Just email me with a suggested date/time.
Hints and tips:
When you have entered a bid, check it is correct, then press Confirm. Don’t wait as your view of the auction pauses while you have chance to check and confirm. You don’t have to use the suggested bid increment, you can bid whatever you want. If the bid is very high the system will query it and ask for confirmation and even disallow some bids if they look like they were made by mistake.
We are hoping to make this Auction facility available soon through estate agents and developers as well as to the public.
